Hey kids. Sorry for the lack of updates around here. Most of my time lately has been spent organizing Tattooleetup. But I don’t want to use that as a crutch. A few weeks ago, I mentioned that we would be posting another “Spotlight On…” feature and I still have every intention of doing this. With any luck, I’ll have that posted by the end of the week. Once Tattooleetup is in the rearview, I’ll have more time to focus on the updates that have been few and far between here.
As far as the Toledo Twitter Users directory goes, I have been working on that. I’ve discovered a pair of tools that have greatly simplified that process. At some point, we’ll have a signup page available for new users to add themselves to the directory. But this here blog will be relocating before too terribly long. The limitations of a WordPress.com blog are making themselves more and more apparent by the minute. Moving to a hosted site is just the most logical next step. Keep your eyes peeled for more news soon!
This morning, Dave Rigotti spoke at Social Media Breakfast Toledo (#SMBTOL). Below are the slides from his presentation, “Do’s and Don’ts of Business Blogging.” Check back next week for a full report on SMBTOL. In the meantime, check out images from the event taken by Mike Brice.
